Choosing when items are executed
In Startupizer's preferences you can choose when items are executed.
To execute items when you login to your Mac OS X account:
- Go to Startupizer's preferences.
- Select General tab.
- Make sure Execute items at system startup option is checked.
Although Startupizer is optimizied to consume as little system resources as possible when running, you can nonetheless choose to close it after executing items. To enable this functionality, make sure Close Startupizer after executing items option is checked.
Note: This option only affects handling during execution after logging in to your Mac OS X accout! Even then, Startupizer will only close if you don't click on it and don't press any key while any of it's windows is active. Startupizer will also not close if any of the items failed to execute.
To execute items when the computer wakes up from sleep:
- Go to Startupizer's preferences.
- Select General tab.
- Make sure Execute items after awaking from sleep option is checked.
Important: Note that at lease one of these options needs to be checked, otherwise Startupizer will never execute items!
